Jeff is a cryptography researcher at the Web 3 Foundation, where he works on diverse topics around as collaborative randomness and block production. Jeff has found vulnerabilities in cryptographic systems, most recently the BIP32-Ed25519 proposal. He is also researching a new peer-to-peer private messaging service that will use mix networks.
Short Bio. Previously, he worked at Inria Rennes. His work includes anonymity protocols, diverse topics around signature schemes, verifiable random functions, distributed authentication, forward-secure ratchets, and pairing-based protocol. Jeff holds a PhD degree in Mathematics from Rutgers University.
